Sound healing is everywhere now. But the most powerful source isn't a bowl, a gong, or a playlist.
It's coming from inside your own body.
Your voice can lower your cortisol, activate your vagus nerve, release oxytocin, and shift your nervous system out of fight-or-flight in mere minutes. Most people spend their entire lives never accessing any of it.
_______
Before becoming a vocal visionary at the forefront of Seattle's sound healing movement, Briana trained intensively for over a decade in classical vocal performance and opera under some of the most respected teachers in the tradition, including Jane Eaglen, Eric Halfvarson, and Vinson Cole. She was a fellow at the Aspen Opera Theater Center, one of the youngest trainees ever accepted to OperaWorks, and deepened her musical interpretation through immersive study in Switzerland and Italy, where she developed a working fluency in Italian at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.
"She knew, technically, everything there was to know about singing."
And then she lost someone she loved. Pressure led to burnout. Striving for perfection in a world of subjectivity led to shame. A period of silence followed that. It was vocal toning, not performance, that finally brought her voice — and herself — back.
________
That turning point is the foundation of everything she teaches now. Briana leads transformational keynotes, workshops, masterclasses, and sound experiences that guide people to reclaim the full power of their instrument — not to perform, but to heal, regulate, and come home to themselves using the free tool they carry with them everywhere, and that most of us take for granted.
As the founder of Tone Circle™, she has built a community rooted in the science and practice of intentional voice use, making vocal empowerment accessible to anyone with the courage to open their mouth and try. Her work spans foundational vocal awareness to advanced vocal alchemy techniques for cultivating magic in everyday life, and includes channeling harmonic attunements for individual and collective healing.
________
She also serves as a vocal specialist with VAST Institute, bringing conscious communication skills to executives and emerging leaders navigating the unique demands of modern leadership.
Her mission is simple: reconnect people's hearts with their voices.
The calm, clarity, and self-healing that follow are what the research has been pointing to all along.
