Greg Olzerowicz, Data ETL Engineer II

Greg has his hands in big data every day. At Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker, he develops and maintains data integrations between Legal Tracker, an SaaS-based eBilling and legal matter management system, and client systems, including accounts payable, claims and IP management. He architects templated ETL processes for ingesting data from initial sales calls to final statements of work. And as a senior team member, he is active in training all junior team members.

As a Data ETL Engineer II at Porch Inc., Greg supported the BI Data Warehouse and Analysis teams with mass ETL, data ingestion, and replication of millions of records for use in live production, data warehousing, and data science. At Porch, Greg specialized in developing and maintaining ETL processes for large data operations using PostgreSQL, Clover ETL, and RESTful APIs in a Linux environment, assisting with process flow implementation, troubleshooting data integrity problems, correcting code, and developing best practices for workflow and data security.

As a Customer Support Technician rapidly promoted to Technical Account Manager (2012-2013) at Time Equipment Co. in Bellevue, Greg handled support and implementation of time tracking software. He also pioneered a new technical knowledge base and implemented best practices for a growing development department. In just one year, he was promoted to the position of Data Analyst.

As a Data Analyst (2013-2015) with Time Equipment Co., Greg developed highly customized reports and dashboard gauges, performed data automation and integration, and utilized ad-hoc SQL scripts to modify databases in a live production environment. In addition, Greg managed two Level I technicians, spearheaded development of a company product catalog, and developed an technical training program for new hires.

Greg's talent for tech was evident early in his life, and he eagerly delved into 4 years of computer science studies at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Erskine College before relocating to Seattle for tech in 2012. With two decades of background in tech, Greg is a go-to data geek for biz-tech.

Greg is always enthusiastic about new opportunities in big data, so get in touch with Greg today.
